just bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond for $4.99 on recommendation from a customer, who said the bag was excellent. You will want to buy two, since there is only one per box.
only the best cooks use a brining bag for their turkey… just be sure that your turkey wasn’t already treated with salt (like a self-basted or kosher turkey)… otherwise use the basic recipe ratio of 1 cup kosher salt to 1 gallon water when preparing the brining solution. Kosher salt is preferable since it doesn’t contain the additives that are found in table salt. if you use table salt, reduce the measure to 1/2 cup.
